RINCÓN DE LA VIEJA NATIONAL PARK

The exuberante dry primary forest that characterizes east park is the home of thousand of species of orquídeas and diverse ecosystems that lodge around 300 types of birds like “pavón”, the “stupid bird”, the “mountain finch” and “tucancillo”, in addition to several mammals as cabro of mount, saíno, guatuza, tolomuco, the armadillo, the colmenero bear, sluggish of the two fingers and Congo monkeys, carablanca and colored.

But attractive the greater one is denominated pailas: fumarólicas lagoons that quiet boil in the middle of the premontano forest wanting to happen unnoticed, but simultaneously, leaving their columns of smoke call the attention of the visitor.
